Our one-year program for Early Childhood Education Montessori AMS Certificate (2.5-6 years)

Shape Bright Futures and Cultivate Young Minds

This program supports teacher candidates in obtaining their AMS (American Montessori Society) Early Childhood Montessori certificate (2.5 - 6 years).

Candidates will gain proficiency with Montessori methods through in-person courses, followed by a nine-month practicum. The program culminates in oral & written exams to obtain the AMS certificate.

This program will develop socially aware, critically informed, and innovative Montessori teachers, who effectively teach following Montessori philosophy combined with skills in anti-bias and anti-racist (ABAR) teaching strategies.

Note: Adult Learners with a GED or High School diploma will receive an Associate AMS Credential. Adult Learners with a prior bachelor's degree will receive a full AMS Credential upon completion.
