Wildcats make history with fourth consecutive MIAC soccer win

St. Kate's is the only team in MIAC soccer history to achieve this feat.

The St. °µÍø½ûÇø soccer team made history on November 9 as they clinched their , becoming the only team in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Soccer history to do so. St. Kate's downed the No. 3 seed Saint Mary's University Cardinals 3-1 in the playoff championship game to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Soccer National Tournament. 

The Wildcats finished the playoff championships outscoring their opponents 6-2, while not dropping a conference contest all season. In the championship match-up, St. Kate's trailed after the first half as the Cardinals struck first in the 30th minute. Things quickly shifted after the half, as junior Natalie Pfleger ’26 scored her tenth goal of the season off an assist from sophomore Ayah Makled ’26 under two minutes into the second half. 

The playoff title came fresh off the Wildcats' MIAC Regular Season Title to add to the program's total of five tournament titles, all of which have been achieved under head coach Jesse Campos' leadership.

The soccer team concluded their historic season in the , falling to tournament host Loras College.
