Faculty Development

We believe that the knowledge and experiences gained by our faculty determine the overall success of our students. Therefore, we are committed to developing a robust mentoring program for new faculty and a summer grant school to strengthen faculty research grant applications. As our faculty members grow their expertise and contribute to their fields of research, they are taking that experience back into the classroom which benefits our students.

Interdisciplinary Academics

We want to increase opportunities for innovation by expanding interprofessional education, exploring new degree options, and incorporating more research and community partnerships. This will allow for greater collaboration among students from different disciplines and provide more real-world experiences that will better prepare our students for giving back in their careers.

A grant-winning project by St. °µÍø½ûÇø faculty in the Economics and Political Science Department is working to remedy this.
